Ben Del Vento

As a Sr. Solutions Architect in the Operate Practice within Cisco’s Advanced Services, Ben Del Vento brings over fifteen years ofeffective, value-driven results into organizations seeking a return on investment from Information Technology. In this role, he leads services engagements for enterprise customers around the planning, build, and operation of Data Center and Cloud technologies. 

Previously, as a Senior Architect at VMware, he created IT Service Management (ITSM) and security services around cloud technologies for customers adopting VMware technologies. Within this role, he lead services engagements for various Fortune 100 customers around Cloud, security and compliance. As a Senior Consultant at Dell Services, he built one of the first Hybrid Cloud solutions for a large national healthcare provider. In this role, he also created solutions with configuration management systems that enabled constant compliance and security policy adherence. As a former Akamai veteran, he designed the infrastructure supporting its customer portal supporting users in its cloud and content delivery solutions. Ben is highly knowledgeable of environments utilizing data center and cloud technologies, Linux and open source software, security and compliance controls, as well as enterprise storage and network devices.

Ben has a Masters degree in Management from Harvard University and is ITIL v3 certified.
